Privacy Policy
Effective 18 October 2026. This policy belongs to Giantech Engineering Pte Ltd, trading as DemisterAsia.
Who we are
DemisterAsia is part of Giantech Engineering Pte Ltd, 16 Boon Lay Way, #01-51, Tradehub 21, Singapore 609965. Phone +65 6316 8595. Email demister@giaearth.com. Website igiantech.com and this DemisterAsia website.
This policy describes the DemisterAsia website, the “Request an Estimate” enquiry form, and the Google Gmail permission used only to send those enquiries to our staff.
Google account data we access
Visitors do not sign in with Google. The only Google user data this application accesses is the Gmail account of Giantech Engineering that authorises the application.
The application requests one Google permission: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send. That permission lets the application send an email from our own mailbox, including from the alias gotrix@giaearth.com. It does not let the application read the inbox, read other messages, change mail, delete mail, or view contacts, files, or calendar data.
We use that permission for one purpose: when a visitor submits the enquiry form, the application sends one email containing that enquiry to demister@giaearth.com so our staff can reply. We do not use Google user data for advertising, for profiling, or for sale to data brokers. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except to Google, as the provider of Gmail, in order to deliver that email.
DemisterAsia’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information visitors give us
If you use the enquiry form, we collect only what you type or attach:
- Name
- Company name, if you provide it
- Email address
- Phone number, if you provide it
- Your message
- An optional file, such as a drawing, specification, PDF, or spreadsheet
- The page address of the form you submitted
We use this information to read your request, prepare an estimate, and reply to you. Staff read the enquiry email for that purpose. We do not use it to send unrelated marketing, and we do not sell it.
Information collected automatically
The web server stores a short security log when the form is used: the date and time, whether the message was sent or rejected, and a one-way hash of the IP address. The log does not store the message text, the attachment, or the Google access token. It is used to block spam and to limit how many messages one visitor can send. These logs are kept on our hosting account and removed in the ordinary course of server maintenance.
The public website pages may load Google Tag Manager to count visits. That measurement is separate from the Gmail permission. The enquiry form does not require a Google account.
How long we keep it
The enquiry email, including any attachment, is kept in our company mailbox for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of the quotation. You may ask us to delete that correspondence by emailing demister@giaearth.com. Security logs are kept only for abuse prevention.
Who we share it with
We share enquiry details with Google through the Gmail API so the email can be delivered to our staff. Our website host stores the site and the security log. We share information if the law requires it. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is processed
Giantech Engineering Pte Ltd is in Singapore. Gmail processes the sent message on Google’s systems. The website is hosted for us on a web server.
Your choices
You can ask what enquiry information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing demister@giaearth.com. You may also send an enquiry by ordinary email instead of using the form. Disconnecting the Gmail permission in the Google account that authorised it stops the form from sending mail.
Changes
If we change what this application collects or how it uses the Gmail permission, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top.
